The software has been designed as general product for security hybrid platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar appearance and controls on the local and remote computers. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have full control of the software via network that security server can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all components act as autonomous software. If one part stops working, other components go on running. For example if the `capture` part stops working, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture using a `playback` unit. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote station through Web interface. The software performs synchronized video playback for event examination from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
